The Kanchanjunga Trek

Grade           Length
Strenuous          27 days

Description
Kanchanjunga, referred to as "Five Great Treasures of the Snows", is situated on the eastern border of Nepal. It's main peak is the third highest in the world. At 8,586m (28,169ft) it is only 81 meters shorter than K2. There are several other peaks in this range also over 8,000 meters (26,250 feet). The trek to this area is probably the best that trekking offers in terms of lush natural beauty. The route is far less trekked than most other trekking routes in Nepal.
