The Machhapuchhre South Face Trek

Description
This is a highland, relatively easy and short trek to the Annapurna Region for those who want to see the Himalayas from close but do not want to trek on the more crowded main trail. We can trek to the southwest Machhapuchhre Base Camp, even in the winter. This trail is less traveled for 4 days where you will definitely not meet any other foreigner. The trail passes through villages of different ethnic groups then into sub-temperate forests. After the first day of our trek we will not encounter tourist. We get close up spectacular views of Annapurna range get to the base camp of one of most picturesque mountain in the world - Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak).

Itinerary
Day  Activities
1Arrive in Kathmandu. Late-afternoon city walk, usually amazing for first-time visitors to Nepal.
2Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
3Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley and preparation for trekking departure
4Drive to Kande in the morning in a chartered vehicle. Camp near Kande.
5To Khokar Danda.
6To Machhapuchhre Base Camp.
7Day trip along the ridge top to 4500 meters for awesome views of the Annapurna range and a close-up view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Peak).
8To Siding.
9In Lahchok.
10To Lamachaur and then by bus into Pokhara to a hotel. The rest of the day is free time.
11In Pokhara. Morning: free time; afternoon: rest of the day is guided touring in the Pokhara area.
12Fly to Kathmandu mid morning, after sunrise boating on the lake. Free afternoon.
13In the Kathmandu Valley, guided touring and shopping.
14Depart Kathmandu for home.
